Since the early 1990’s the Suparasiri family have been bringing exquisite Thai food to the people of Plymouth. Now firmly established here on the historic Barbican their reputation is well known, winning awards and accolades for quality and excellence both locally and nationally.
Fine Thai cooking starts with carefully selecting and using the right fresh ingredients. We are proud of our Thai food and we source only the best ingredients with herbs and spices flown directly from Thailand and quality fresh fish, meat and vegetables sourced locally.
Traditional Thai food is certainly full-flavoured, soups sparkle with chilli and lemongrass and curries are rich with aromatic and spicy tastes. There is no bland compromised cooking here, however those with a less fiery palate shouldn’t be put off. Though true of some dishes chilli’s are one of many ingredients that combine to give Thai cuisine it’s intoxicating flavour, lemon grass, coriander, kaffir-lime leaves, coconut, basil and tamarind are just a few of the many ingredients that are equally important to our Chef’s.
All our dishes are cooked to order so the heat can be adjusted to your preference, after all you are our guest and we want you to leave us feeling happy that you really have had a true taste of Thailand.
